Who Would Have Thought… Me? Married?

It’s been more than a month since my husband and I got married. So far, it has been one of the most exciting weeks of our lives. There really is a difference between being in a relationship and sharing a house and finally being a wife of someone. You know, being Mrs. Plijter?

It has been quite weird for me sometimes to introduce myself into a different name. I have always been an Inna Santiago, and in social media and any business related transactions, I will still be using the name I am known for plus my husband’s name –  an Inna Santiago Plijter. My husband and I have agreed on this. For other personal matters, I will just be simply, Inna Plijter.

Yesterday my husband took me out on a date. And not just any movie date, he brought me to a horror movie date. Wow! Shocking, I know. He is just one of those men who just dislike horror movies. And I know they just don’t dislike them because how nonsense it could be, but they are actually scared. Anyway, we both waved our bye-bye’s to our helps and asked us, “Where are you guys going?”, “He’s taking me out on a date!” I replied.

They both laughed and was quite amazed how my husband still treats me just as nice and even greater how we were dating before.

Parang mag syota lang ah!“, one of the Dorotas shouted.

The Little Big Spender x The Travel Agent?

I have been working so hard lately. I wake up along with the husband in the morning. He spends his first hours working out, breakfast, and preparing for work. I check the fridge and pantry and map out the ingredients I will be using for our meals for the day; open my laptop and prepare to work for the next hours and hours for the day. If you guy’s still don’t know – I am a travel specialist a.k.a. travel agent. I own a travel and tours agency specializing outbound and inbound tours. I usually work with people who are based in other countries with different timezones. Things can get rough if your client demands something to be done right away when they (other tour operators and hotels) don’t reply as fast as you.

I love my job. I love the service industry. I love the people who support and help me to be a good travel specialist. I don’t do this because I want to travel for free. I do this because I want people to travel. I want people to experience such an amazing blessing in life whether it is luxury or backpacking. Most of all, I want to help.

Ngarag. Ngarag is a word that I would describe myself lately.  I am 38 weeks pregnant, and our baby has been moving so much. Sometimes it hurts so much but the pain is so worth it to just feel her. I work from 8 in the morning until after dinner. I also work on weekends from time to time, and I cannot stop until I don’t get things done.

Domesticated and Sexy

I am very lucky with my husband. When I cook, he cleans up. When I cannot cook, he brings home food. He takes care of me when we start preparing for bed. Massages my back and feet gently, cuddles me until I relax, and helps me to whatever that I need to be helped on. He does not complain even if he works 9 hours a day. He is the greatest person that has ever entered and stayed into my life, and I’ve never described anyone like that before.

So enough with the cheesiness, and time to go back to my reality, prepare a day of small work, groceries, and wifey and hubby time. I know this post is such a rush, but I am really busy so busy. I still have to get used to this!

After all, this is just the beginning of a crazy beautiful married life ahead.
